I narrate the type of stories I like to read: horror, literary fiction, fantasy, science fiction, classics, and modern works. No one has ever asked me to perform a romance novel, but I totally would. Hit me up about that.
I was trained in writing and performance at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and bring decades of professional storytelling experience to my work. I have a deep love of the material. When I am not performing, I am reading or listening to stories. (Not at the same time.)
It’s also incredible fun to bring stories to life in audio. I mean, that’s the root of stories, right? A bunch of people sitting around a fire at night, entertaining each other before the invention of writing, telling tales of gods and monsters and the beginning of time? We’re just bringing it full circle with audiobooks. It’s great!
The Black Laser Reads is an ongoing personal project where I record whatever public domain story that catches my interest at the moment. It’s fun and great practice.
All the recordings are available free to listen to, download, and love.
You can listen to them in the embedded player. Enjoy!
